Q: Does kit give LDL reading? Description says measures total, LDL, HDL, trig, glucose, & ketone, but only lists strips for total, HDL, trig.

This kit contains strips to measure total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol and tryglycerides. With these values you can also calculte your LDL cholesterol. This kit however does not measure Glucose or ketones.

Total Cholesterol strips expire August 2014, HDL Cholesterol strips expire September 2014 & Triglyceride strips expire August 2014. Thank you.

Q: Can one finger stick provide a reading for total cholesterol, HDL and triglycerides? Is this FDA approved?
A:
Only cardiochek PA (professional) can provide a reading for all three with one finger stick. The one I currently have, requires a separate finger stick for every one of them. In terms of FDA, I am not really sure.
